Put your tin foil hats on

Here we go. Back in 2008, Poland agreed to becoming part of the U.S. missile shield. This morning, Russia exacted it's revenge and sent a message. This message was sent directly to Radoslaw Sikorski, the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs that played so prominent a role in the negotiations between the U.S. State Department and his government. After strongarming Obama into reducing numbers of U.S. nuclear weapons Putin now warns the Poles that they had better not be involved with the missile shield. This is all because that if the missile shield is effective then reduced numbers of U.S. nukes won't mean a damn thing.

You may now resume your regularly scheduled surfing.

FOLLOW UP - Wow! That was fast. There's already an explanation for the crash. The Russian's are claiming that the flight crew didn't follow the instructions of the air traffic controllers. Sure. My tin foil hat says they followed the instructions to the letter. It's just too perfect. A 26 year-old aircraft with a dubious safety record with a flight crew that doesn't follow instructions? Yeah, right.
