Some tidbits.

Yeah, ya think??''

For the love of the baby Jesus. Can we at least STOP THE LEAK before worrying about whose ass to kick?

Wonder why they're having problems? For one, oil in reservoirs under the Gulf of Mexico is subject to very high pressures – as much as 9,000 pounds per square inch, notes Steve Sears, who heads the petroleum engineering department at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. This means the spewing oil is more forceful – and harder to handle. That article goes on to explain that the pounds of pressure per square inch at a depth of 5000 feet is around 2100 PSI. So the oil is blowing out of the well at an amazing rate - certainly enough to overcome the pressure of the ocean. To put what they're doing in perspective imagine trying to place a plastic funnel on top of fireman's water hose spraying at full pressure and holding it in place.

This can't be good.
